One of the fondest memories of Kerala. 🌻 .. 🌼On an evening as beautiful as Kerala itself, when I had nothing much planned, but just a stroll down the tea estates outside my cottage. Was when I met these lovely souls- A bunch of ladies working in a tea estate. I smiled at one and she smiled back, and then the remaining joined in for a small chit chat. . Though none of us knew the others language, it was still a beautiful conversation. We tried to communicate with whatever words we could get accross the other to understand.That day I learnt that Language can never be a barrier if you really wanna communicate. . . They asked me my name, whether i was married, was I travelling alone and where I came from. 😁. They smiled and giggled like young girls at every answer I gave.😁 . They told me their names which I can't really remember now but all that I remember about them was their smiling faces even after a hard day's work and the warm happy conversation I had with these happy natured women. Often when I speak about this conversation i giggle, just like they did at the very time.😀. . . . . . . . . . .

Tea has been and always will be one of the most enjoyed drinks of all times. We Indians love our beloved hot steaming cup of that ‘do good’ chai. It’s like an addiction for many of you isn’t it? Well for me it’s an utter sense of warmth and satisfaction when I need it the most.🍵 . 🌿The picture here is one amongst the numerous one I have of myself in/near the tea estates.🌿 . There are so many amazing facts about this amazing yet simple drink that I have learnt about from my travels. By chance encounters are always surprising.🌼 .. While on our way to a trek out to a waterfall, we happened to come across this ancient Jain temple located at Cudnem in Bicholim taluka of Goa. .. What a pretty little ruin this is...and since it's monsoon the whole place looked ravishing and fresh. But climbing up here was a little scary (for the fear of some unpredicted reptiles waiting for me.😝) But the view was worth it all.. .. Old ancient monuments always intrigue me, they have their own tale to tell.. .. Usually Goa turns gorgeous during monsoons.. but right now the situation here is not so good, with landslides and water entering people's houses, and many low lying areas getting flooded.🚫 .. So if you planning to come down here, wait for a while.. DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE! ...And today seems nothing less than a dream to me. IGNITING HORIZONS turns 2 today. . A blog which I started as a leap towards my dreams just on a random day.. and here we are today hitting this 2 years milestone.😊 . A big THANK YOU to all you Awesome people who sailed with me and are still sailing in this journey. These two year have been just like a road trip down some great valley, with some smooth roads and rough ones too. . The great moment were like those gorgeous views we see on a journey which came in the form of the places I travelled to, the people I associated with, the brands who worked with me, the things I learnt from all this, and all the love I got from you guys. Well there were some tough times too but they all made igniting horizons what it is today. . I am really greatful to all you lovely people for showering my blog with your love and support.
